Acts of Parliament assented to – Act Nos 84 to 87 of 2024
It is hereby notified, for general information, that Her Excellency the Governor-General, in the name of His Majesty, assented on 17 September 2024 to the undermentioned Acts passed by the Senate and the House of Representatives in the Parliament assembled, viz.:
No. 84 of 2024—An Act to amend the Illegal Logging Prohibition Act 2012, and for related purposes. (Illegal Logging Prohibition Amendment (Strengthening Measures to Prevent Illegal Timber Trade) Act 2024).
No. 85 of 2024—An Act to establish the Net Zero Economy Authority, and for related purposes. (Net Zero Economy Authority Act 2024).
No. 86 of 2024—An Act to amend the Parliamentary Workplace Support Service Act 2023 to establish the Independent Parliamentary Standards Commission, and for related purposes. (Parliamentary Workplace Support Service Amendment (Independent Parliamentary Standards Commission) Act 2024).
No. 87 of 2024—An Act to amend the law relating to corporations, and for related purposes. (Treasury Laws Amendment (Financial Market Infrastructure and Other Measures) Act 2024).
