Acts of Parliament assented to – Act Nos 2 to 10 of 2025
It is hereby notified, for general information, that Her Excellency the Governor-General, in the name of His Majesty, assented on 14 February 2025 to the undermentioned Acts passed by the Senate and the House of Representatives in the Parliament assembled, viz.:
No. 2 of 2025—An Act to amend the Navigation Act 2012, and for related purposes. (Navigation Amendment Act 2025).
No. 3 of 2025—An Act to appropriate additional money out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund for expenditure in relation to the Parliamentary Departments, and for related purposes. (Appropriation (Parliamentary Departments) Act (No. 2) 2024-2025).
No. 4 of 2025—An Act to appropriate additional money out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund for the ordinary annual services of the Government, and for related purposes. (Appropriation Act (No. 3) 2024-2025).
No. 5 of 2025—An Act to appropriate additional money out of the Consolidated Revenue Fund for certain expenditure, and for related purposes. (Appropriation Act (No. 4) 2024-2025).
No. 6 of 2025—An Act to amend the law relating to social security, and for related purposes. (Social Security Legislation Amendment (Technical Changes) Act 2025).
No. 7 of 2025—An Act to amend legislation related to certain oversight bodies, and for related purposes. (Oversight Legislation Amendment (Robodebt Royal Commission Response and Other Measures) Act 2025).
No. 8 of 2025—An Act to amend the law relating to electronic health records and medicare benefits, and for other purposes. (Health Legislation Amendment (Modernising My Health Record—Sharing by Default) Act 2025).
No. 9 of 2025—An Act to amend the law relating to taxation and Indigenous Business Australia, and for related purposes. (Future Made in Australia (Production Tax Credits and Other Measures) Act 2025).
No. 10 of 2025—An Act to amend the Defence Service Homes Act 1918 and validate certain activities and arrangements, and for related purposes. (Defence Service Homes Amendment (Insurance) Act 2025).
