Acts of Parliament assented to

 

It is hereby notified, for general information, that His Excellency the Governor-General, in the name of Her Majesty, assented to the undermentioned Acts passed by the Senate and the House of Representatives in the Parliament assembled, viz.:

 

Assented to on 17 July 2014:

 No. 77 of 2014An Act to amend the Infrastructure Australia Act 2008, and for other purposes. (Infrastructure Australia Amendment Act 2014).

 No. 78 of 2014An Act to amend the Health Insurance Act 1973, and for related purposes. (Health Insurance Amendment (Extended Medicare Safety Net) Act 2014).

 No. 79 of 2014An Act to amend the Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage (Regulatory Levies) Act 2003, and for related purposes. (Offshore Petroleum and Greenhouse Gas Storage (Regulatory Levies) Amendment Act 2014).

 No. 83 of 2014—An Act to repeal the Clean Energy Act 2011, and for other purposes. (Clean Energy Legislation (Carbon Tax Repeal) Act 2014).

 No. 84 of 2014—An Act to impose a levy on true-up shortfalls under the Clean Energy Legislation (Carbon Tax Repeal) Act 2014, so far as that levy is neither a duty of customs nor a duty of excise. (True-up Shortfall Levy (General) (Carbon Tax Repeal) Act 2014).

 No. 85 of 2014—An Act to impose a levy on true-up shortfalls under the Clean Energy Legislation (Carbon Tax Repeal) Act 2014, so far as that levy is a duty of excise. (True-up Shortfall Levy (Excise) (Carbon Tax Repeal) Act 2014).

 No. 86 of 2014—An Act to amend the Customs Tariff Act 1995, and for related purposes. (Customs Tariff Amendment (Carbon Tax Repeal) Act 2014).

 No. 87 of 2014—An Act to amend the law relating to excise tariffs, and for related purposes. (Excise Tariff Amendment (Carbon Tax Repeal) Act 2014).

 No. 88 of 2014—An Act to amend the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas (Import Levy) Act 1995, and for related purposes. (Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas (Import Levy) Amendment (Carbon Tax Repeal) Act 2014).

 No. 89 of 2014—An Act to amend the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas (Manufacture Levy) Act 1995, and for related purposes. (Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas (Manufacture Levy) Amendment (Carbon Tax Repeal) Act 2014).

 No. 90 of 2014—An Act to provide for a limited exemption from the carbon charge component of levy imposed on the import of synthetic greenhouse gases by the Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas (Import Levy) Act 1995, and for related purposes. (Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas (Import Levy) (Transitional Provisions) Act 2014).

 

Assented to on 21 July 2014:

 No. 91 of 2014—An Act to amend laws relating to agricultural and veterinary chemicals, and for other purposes. (Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Legislation Amendment (Removing

Re-approval and Re-registration) Act 2014).

 No. 92 of 2014—An Act about the interaction between the law of the Commonwealth, and the law of Queensland for the G20, and for related purposes. (G20 (Safety and Security) Complementary Act 2014).
