Acts of Parliament assented to
It is hereby notified, for general information, that His Excellency the Governor-General, in the name of Her Majesty, assented on 2 October 2019 to the undermentioned Acts passed by the Senate and the House of Representatives in the Parliament assembled, viz.:
No. 76 of 2019—An Act to amend the Customs Act 1901 in relation to tobacco, and for related purposes. (Customs Amendment (Immediate Destruction of Illicit Tobacco) Act 2019).
No. 77 of 2019—An Act to amend the National Health Act 1953, and for related purposes. (National Health Amendment (Pharmaceutical Benefits) Act 2019).
No. 78 of 2019—An Act to amend the law relating to taxation and superannuation, and for related purposes. (Treasury Laws Amendment (2018 Superannuation Measures No. 1) Act 2019).
No. 79 of 2019—An Act to amend the law relating to superannuation, and for related purposes. (Treasury Laws Amendment (Putting Members’ Interests First) Act 2019).
No. 80 of 2019—An Act to amend the Water Act 2007 in relation to the membership of the Murray-Darling Basin Authority, and for related purposes. (Water Amendment (Indigenous Authority Member) Act 2019).
