Acts of Parliament assented to – Act No. 61 to 66 of 2022
It is hereby notified, for general information, that His Excellency the Governor-General, in the name of His Majesty, assented on 29 November 2022 to the undermentioned Acts passed by the Senate and the House of Representatives in the Parliament assembled, viz.:
No. 61 of 2022—An Act to amend the Defence Home Ownership Assistance Scheme Act 2008, and for related purposes. (Defence Home Ownership Assistance Scheme Amendment Act 2022).
No. 62 of 2022—An Act to amend the law relating to social security and veterans’ entitlements, and for related purposes. (Social Services and Other Legislation Amendment (Incentivising Pensioners to Downsize) Act 2022).
No. 63 of 2022—An Act to amend the Atomic Energy Act 1953, and for related purposes.
(Atomic Energy Amendment (Mine Rehabilitation and Closure) Act 2022).
No. 64 of 2022—An Act to amend the law relating to education, and for related purposes. (Education Legislation Amendment (2022 Measures No. 1) Act 2022).
No. 65 of 2022— An Act to amend the Emergency Response Fund Act 2019, and for other purposes. (Emergency Response Fund Amendment (Disaster Ready Fund) Act 2022).
No. 66 of 2022— An Act to amend the law relating to family assistance to provide more affordable early childhood education and care, and for related purposes. (Family Assistance Legislation Amendment (Cheaper Child Care) Act 2022).
