Acts of Parliament assented to – Act No. 47 to 54 of 2022

 

It is hereby notified, for general information, that His Excellency the Governor-General, in the name of His Majesty, assented on 9 November 2022 to the undermentioned Acts passed by the Senate and the House of Representatives in the Parliament assembled, viz.:

 No. 47 of 2022—An Act to amend the Aged Care Act 1997, and for related purposes.
(Aged Care Amendment (Implementing Care Reform) Act 2022).

 No. 48 of 2022—An Act to amend the law relating to the appointment of members of the Australian Human Rights Commission, and for related purposes. (Australian Human Rights Commission Legislation Amendment (Selection and Appointment) Act 2022).

 No. 49 of 2022—An Act to amend the law relating to counter-terrorism, and for related purposes. (Counter-Terrorism Legislation Amendment (AFP Powers and Other Matters) Act 2022).

 No. 50 of 2022—An Act to amend the Fair Work Act 2009 to provide for paid family and domestic violence leave, and for related purposes. (Fair Work Amendment (Paid Family and Domestic Violence Leave) Act 2022).

 No. 51 of 2022—An Act to establish Jobs and Skills Australia, and for related purposes.
(Jobs and Skills Australia Act 2022).

 No. 52 of 2022—An Act to repeal the National Skills Commissioner Act 2020, and for related purposes. (Jobs and Skills Australia (National Skills Commissioner Repeal) Act 2022).

 No. 53 of 2022—An Act to amend the National Health Act 1953, and for related purposes. (National Health Amendment (General Co-payment) Act 2022).

 No. 54 of 2022—An Act to amend the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission Act 2001, and for related purposes.
