It is hereby notified, for general information, that His Excellency the Governor-General, in the name of Her Majesty, assented to the undermentioned Acts passed by the Senate and the House of Representatives in the Parliament assembled, viz.:
Assented to on 28 March 2014:
No. 12 of 2014—An Act to provide financial assistance to farmers and their partners, and for related purposes. (Farm Household Support Act 2014).
No. 13 of 2014—An Act to deal with consequential and transitional matters arising from the enactment of the Farm Household Support Act 2014, and for related purposes. (Farm Household Support (Consequential and Transitional Provisions) Act 2014).
Assented to on 31 March 2014:
No. 14 of 2014—An Act to amend the law relating to family assistance, social security, veterans’ entitlements, paid parental leave, child support, gambling and the National Disability Insurance Scheme, and for related purposes. (Social Services and Other Legislation Amendment Act 2014).
No. 15 of 2014—An Act to provide for the collection of quarantine charges, and for related purposes. (Quarantine Charges (Collection) Act 2014).
No. 16 of 2014—An Act to impose, as taxes, charges in relation to matters connected with the administration of the Quarantine Act 1908, so far as those charges are duties of customs, and for related purposes. (Quarantine Charges (Imposition—Customs) Act 2014).
No. 17 of 2014—An Act to impose, as taxes, charges in relation to matters connected with the administration of the Quarantine Act 1908, so far as those charges are duties of excise, and for related purposes. (Quarantine Charges (Imposition—Excise) Act 2014).
No. 18 of 2014—An Act to impose, as taxes, charges in relation to matters connected with the administration of the Quarantine Act 1908, so far as those charges are neither duties of customs nor duties of excise, and for related purposes. (Quarantine Charges (Imposition—General) Act 2014).
