Acts of Parliament assented to
It is hereby notified, for general information, that His Excellency the Governor-General, in the name of Her Majesty, assented on 20 February 2018 to the undermentioned Acts passed by the Senate and the House of Representatives in the Parliament assembled, viz.:
No. 1 of 2018—An Act to amend the National Health Act 1953, and for related purposes. (National Health Amendment (Pharmaceutical Benefits—Budget and Other Measures) Act 2018).
No. 2 of 2018—An Act to amend legislation administered by the Prime Minister, and for related purposes. (Prime Minister and Cabinet Legislation Amendment (2017 Measures No. 1) Act 2018).
No. 3 of 2018—An Act to amend the law relating to social security, and for related purposes. (Social Services Legislation Amendment (Cashless Debit Card) Act 2018).
No. 4 of 2018—An Act to make various amendments of the statute law of the Commonwealth to abolish statutory bodies, and for other purposes. (Statute Update (Smaller Government) Act 2018).
No. 5 of 2018—An Act to amend the Banking Act 1959, and for related purposes. (Treasury Laws Amendment (Banking Executive Accountability and Related Measures) Act 2018).
No. 6 of 2018—An Act to establish the Regional Investment Corporation, and for related purposes. (Regional Investment Corporation Act 2018).
