EXPLANATORY STATEMENT
1. Authority for making the instrument. Academic Board Statute 2006, section 8.
2. Purpose and operation of the instrument. The Rules establish the terms of reference and other arrangements relevant to the operation of the Academic Board and its subcommittees.
3. Documents incorporated in the instrument by reference. None.
4. Consultation process. Conveners and Deans of ANU Colleges were consulted during the drafting of the Rules. The Council of the University considered and approved the Rules.
