1. Authority for making the instrument. Academic and Ceremonial Dress Statute 2005, section 2.
2. Purpose and operation of the instrument. The Order describes the academic and ceremonial dress of the University.
3. Documents incorporated in the instrument by reference. None.
4. Consultation process. The Acting Vice-Chancellor of the University made the Order on 16 June 2014 on the recommendation of the Academic Board.
