EXPLANATORY STATEMENT

 

 

 

 

 

 

1. Authority for making the instrument.  Academic and Ceremonial Dress Statute 2005, section 2.

 

2. Purpose and operation of the instrument.  The Order describes the academic and ceremonial dress of the University. 

 

3. Documents incorporated in the instrument by reference.  None.

 

4. Consultation process.  The Order was considered and approved by the Council of the University on 29 May 2009.
