The appellant, Mr B, appeals three decisions of Judge M Southwick QC in the Family Court relating to relationship property disputes between him and the respondent, Mrs B. The appeal was heard by Moore J in the High Court. The first appeal concerns an oral judgment delivered on 3 March 2014, the second appeal concerns a minute delivered on 16 April 2014, and the third appeal concerns a reserved decision delivered on 23 May 2014. In each appeal Mr B contends that the orders made by Judge Southwick are either unfeasible, unenforceable, inconsistent with the decision of Gilbert J, or otherwise inappropriate. The appeals were dismissed and the orders made by Judge Southwick were confirmed. The Court held that Mr B was in contempt of Court and fined him $1,000. Costs were awarded to Mrs B on a 2B basis.
