Stokes and Stokes

In *Stokes and Stokes*, heard by Jordan J, the dispute concerned an application by the Mother alleging contravention of a parenting order.

The primary legal issue before the court was whether the Mother had established, on the balance of probabilities, that the Father had contravened the existing parenting order.

His Honour considered the evidence presented by both parties in relation to the alleged contraventions. After reviewing the submissions and the relevant provisions of the *Family Law Act 1975* (Cth), Jordan J found that the Mother had not discharged her onus of proof. Consequently, the court dismissed the Contravention Application.
