Sportsgirl Pty Ltd v Filip Sali

Sportsgirl Pty Ltd (the applicant) sought to register a trade mark, and Filip Sali (the opponent) opposed this application. The decision was made by Iain Thompson, acting as the Registrar.

The Registrar was required to determine whether to register the trade mark, having regard to the grounds on which the application was opposed. The Registrar also had to decide on the matter of costs for the successful opponent.
