Simpson and D’Leroy

In the matter of Simpson and D’Leroy, heard by Justice Cronin, the dispute concerned an application by the mother for an expedited trial. The court was required to determine whether to grant this application.

The court was also required to consider whether the proceedings ought to be transferred to the Federal Magistrates Court of Australia, and to receive written submissions from each party on this issue.
