In the matter of SIDNEY & ALLANSON, heard before Judge Young, the dispute concerned parenting arrangements for the child X. The parties sought to vary existing orders relating to school holidays and sought further orders regarding a child inclusive conference.

The court was required to determine the specific terms of the school holiday arrangements for the child X, including provisions for Christmas Day and the child's birthday. Pursuant to s.11F of the Family Law Act 1975, the parties and the child were ordered to attend a child inclusive conference with a Family Consultant, who was to provide brief advice to the court on agreed and disputed issues, and recommendations for interim or procedural orders. The matter was then adjourned for mention.
