Schneider and Nugent

In the matter of *Schneider and Nugent*, heard before Judge Willis of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, the dispute concerned an application by the Wife for the Husband to pay her costs of and incidental to the proceedings.

The court was required to determine whether the Wife should be awarded costs against the Husband.

Judge Willis dismissed the Wife's application for costs. The court further ordered that the Principal Registrar of the Federal Circuit Court refer the decision to the Bar Association of Queensland for their consideration and appropriate action. All outstanding applications were removed from the pending cases list.
