In the matter of *Salton & Morand*, heard before Rees J, the applicant sought orders for property settlement concerning funds held by B Lawyers arising from the sale of a property located at C Street, Suburb D. The respondent was also a party to the proceedings.

The central legal issue before the court was the entitlement of the applicant to the proceeds of the property sale as part of a property settlement. The court was required to determine how these funds should be distributed between the parties.
