Salt and Salt

The parties to this proceeding were Ms Salt (the mother) and her former husband, the father. The dispute concerned parenting arrangements for their child. The matter came before Macmillan J in the Family Court of Australia.

The court was required to determine whether to proceed with the final hearing listed for 29 April 2019 and to consider the extant applications for interim and final orders made by both parties.

Macmillan J vacated the final hearing and dismissed all applications for interim and final orders. The court removed the matter from its list of cases awaiting determination. The father was ordered to serve a sealed copy of the orders upon the mother by email.
