Rowtell and Parton

In the matter of *Rowtell and Parton*, heard by Barry J of the Family Court of Australia, the dispute concerned parenting arrangements for the child, Z Parton. The father sought orders regarding communication with the child.

The primary legal issue before the court was whether the father should be permitted to send correspondence to the child, Z Parton, and if so, under what conditions. This involved considering the child's welfare and the existing communication arrangements between the parents.
