Robinson and Farthing

In the matter of *Robinson and Farthing*, heard by Cronin J, the wife sought to have certain orders set aside, while the husband sought to have his response to the wife's application dismissed. The core of the dispute concerned the wife's application filed on 29 April 2013 and the husband's response filed on 18 June 2012.

The court was required to determine whether the wife's application to set aside orders should be granted and whether the husband's response should be dismissed. These determinations would ultimately resolve the substantive claims brought before the court by the parties.

Cronin J dismissed both the wife's application and the husband's response, save for issues relating to costs. The court ordered that any party seeking costs arising from these dismissals must make their application by written submission, to be filed and served by 20 September 2013. The opposing party would then have until 4 October 2013 to file and serve any response, with all such applications and responses to be determined in chambers.
