The parties to this proceeding were the mother and the father, concerning their three children, K, T, and B. The dispute before Tree J of the Family Court of Australia involved the father's application seeking orders regarding the children's contact with certain individuals and the mother's conduct.

The court was required to determine whether to grant the father's application for orders restraining the mother from allowing the children contact with Mr C, and requiring the mother's presence during contact with other named individuals. Additionally, the court had to consider whether to make orders prohibiting the mother, and others in her company, from administering or threatening physical discipline upon the children, and requiring the mother to remove the children from such situations and notify the father.

Tree J made orders restraining the mother from allowing the children any contact with Mr C. The court further ordered that the mother must be present at all times when the children are in the company of Mr D, Mr E, Ms M, Mr F, Ms G, and Ms H. The mother was also restrained from administering or threatening to administer physical discipline upon any of the children, and was required to remove the children from the presence of any other person who does so or threatens to do so, and to advise the father within 21 hours. The father's application filed on 7 December 2017 was otherwise dismissed.
