REYNES & DIONETT

In the matter of *Reynes & Dionett*, heard before Stevenson J, the dispute concerned child support assessments and the sale of a property. The husband, Mr Reynes, sought to stay the operation of child support assessments payable to the wife, Ms Dionett, for their child. Additionally, the parties were in dispute regarding the management and sale of their jointly owned property.

The court was required to determine whether to grant a stay on the child support assessments pending further determination of the husband's application. Furthermore, the court needed to make orders concerning the sale of the parties' property, including who would have authority over the sale process and the distribution of proceeds, as well as the terms of any interim lease of the property.

Stevenson J ordered that the operation of all child support assessments payable by the husband to the wife be stayed pending the determination of the husband's initiating application. The court also granted the husband sole authority to conduct the sale of the property, with the proceeds to be distributed in accordance with previous orders. Both parties were directed to cooperate in leasing the property for a period of three months, or a longer agreed period, and to facilitate the sale of the property at a price determined by the husband in consultation with real estate agents. All other outstanding applications seeking interim relief were dismissed.
