REGAN & REGAN

In the matter of *Regan & Regan*, heard before Dawe J, the husband sought an adjournment to file responding documents, which the wife opposed. The court was not in possession of full information concerning the proceedings.

The primary legal issue before the court was whether to grant the husband's application for an adjournment, given the wife's opposition and the incomplete information before the court. A secondary issue arose concerning the wife's application for costs occasioned by the husband's adjournment application, which the court also considered.

Dawe J granted the adjournment, acknowledging the lack of complete information before the court. The court adjourned the interim matter to 22 March 2012. Regarding costs, the court did not have sufficient information to make a determination at that time and therefore adjourned the question of costs generally, to be considered by the judicial officer hearing the interim applications on 22 March 2012. Orders were also made in terms of consent minutes of order concerning interim spouse maintenance.
