It took into account Mr. Singh's explanation that the cessation of employment was due to factors beyond his control, including the refusal of a nomination application, the impending closure of his sponsor's business, and his subsequent stress, depression, and financial difficulties. Despite these mitigating circumstances, including his return to India for treatment, the Tribunal concluded that the reasons for cancelling the visa outweighed the reasons for not cancelling it.

Consequently, the Tribunal affirmed the decision to cancel Mr. Singh's Subclass 457 visa.
