Ragno and Nemet and Anor

In the matter of *Ragno and Nemet and Anor*, heard by Judge Young, the dispute concerned parenting orders relating to two children, [X] and [Y]. The application sought to vary existing orders made on 16 January 2018, which had stipulated that the children spend time with their maternal grandmother.

The court was required to determine whether the existing orders for the children to spend time with the maternal grandmother should be suspended. Additionally, the court needed to consider orders concerning the sleeping arrangements of child [X] in relation to the maternal grandfather, and whether a child inclusive conference with a Family Consultant was appropriate.

Judge Young ordered that the provisions of the 16 January 2018 orders requiring the children to spend time with the maternal grandmother be suspended until further order. The mother was also directed to ensure that child [X] did not sleep on the same floor as the maternal grandfather. Furthermore, pursuant to s.11F of the *Family Law Act 1975*, the parties and child [X] were ordered to attend a child inclusive conference with a Family Consultant. Following this conference, the Family Consultant was to provide brief advice to the Court regarding areas of agreement, outstanding disputes, and recommendations for interim or procedural orders.
