Proclamation under the Greater Hobart Act 2019 (TAS)

The Governor of Tasmania issued a proclamation on 17 December 2019 under the Greater Hobart Act 2019. The proclamation set 25 December 2019 as the commencement date of the Act. The court found that the proclamation met all statutory requirements and was validly issued. Consequently, the Greater Hobart Act 2019 commenced on the set date of 25 December 2019.
