Preiss and Preiss

In *Preiss and Preiss*, the wife sought interim orders in family law proceedings. The husband was also seeking orders. The matter came before Cronin J.

The court was required to determine the appropriate interim orders concerning the division of property, specifically addressing the husband's sale of shares and the disposition of those funds, as well as the wife's costs.

Cronin J made several orders, including adjourning the wife's application and directing the husband to file an initiating application for interim orders if he wished. The court also ordered the husband to provide details of all shares sold since 2017 and where the funds were deposited, and to pay the wife's costs fixed at $2740. Furthermore, the husband was ordered to pay the wife $80,000 from the sale of 4000 shares, and to immediately sell an additional 8000 shares to make up the difference to a total payment of $200,000. The court also directed that reasons for these orders be published.
