POULOS & MINTON

In the matter of *Poulos & Minton*, heard before Macmillan J, the dispute concerned an application by the father for contravention of final parenting orders made on 9 August 2016. The father's application for contravention was filed on 27 November 2017.

The primary legal issue before the court was whether the mother had contravened the existing final parenting orders. The court was also required to consider the future parenting arrangements and the potential for discharge or variation of paragraph 7 of those orders.

Macmillan J dismissed the father's application for contravention. The court granted leave to both parties to file any applications for the discharge or variation of paragraph 7 of the final parenting orders. Such applications, if filed, were to be listed for hearing on 1 March 2018, with a provision for vacation of that hearing if no applications were filed by 29 January 2018.
