Perinkov and Tannin

In the matter of *Perinkov and Tannin*, heard before Dessau J, the dispute concerned parenting arrangements for the child of the marriage. The applicant father sought orders for the child to live with him, while the respondent mother presumably sought orders for the child to live with her.

The court was required to determine the primary residence of the child and to make orders regarding the child's schooling and the preparation of a Family Report. The court also needed to consider the particulars of the obligations and consequences of contravention of the orders, as provided for by sections 65DA(2) and 62B of the relevant legislation.

Dessau J made orders for the child to live with the applicant father on specific dates during the Christmas and New Year period, and thereafter on alternate weeks. The child was to live with the respondent mother at all other times. The child was ordered to attend S Primary School. Furthermore, both parents and the child were directed to attend upon Ms M for the preparation of a Family Report, with the costs to be shared equally. The court also ordered that all extant applications be adjourned for further hearing and included particulars of obligations and consequences of contravention in Annexure A to the orders.
