Paul Huang v Forgacs Engineering Pty Limited

Paul Huang commenced proceedings in the Fair Work Commission seeking relief from an unfair dismissal, asserting that his termination was unjust and not a genuine redundancy. Consequently, the Commission ruled that Mr. Huang's dismissal was unfair.

The Fair Work Commission ordered Forgacs Engineering Pty Limited to reinstate Mr. Huang to his former position and to pay him compensation for the loss of remuneration from the date of his dismissal to the date of reinstatement. The company was also ordered to pay Mr. Huang’s legal costs.
