In the matter of *Patsiokis & Johnetta*, heard before Stevenson J, the dispute concerned parenting orders and costs following protracted litigation. The proceedings involved applications relating to the relocation of a child to the United Kingdom and other related parenting matters.

The court was required to determine the appropriate parenting orders for the child and to make orders regarding the costs of various applications filed by the parties and the Independent Child's Lawyer.

Stevenson J ordered that the father pay a sum of $6,472.80 to the Director of the Legal Aid Commission of New South Wales within three months. Furthermore, the mother was ordered to pay the father's costs on a party-party basis for several specific applications, including the mother's initiating application concerning relocation, the father's applications filed in November 2008, and the mother's applications filed in April and December 2010, as well as the Independent Child's Lawyer's application for an updated report. These costs were to be paid within three months of agreement as to quantum or taxation.
