Oliver and Davidson

In *Oliver and Davidson*, heard by Tree J, the dispute concerned applications made by the mother, filed on 4 February 2015, and any other extant applications for orders.

The court was required to determine whether to dismiss the mother's application and any other pending applications, discharge the Independent Children's Lawyer, and remove the matter from the active list. The court also considered the appropriate addresses for service for the mother.

Tree J ordered the dismissal of the mother's application and all other extant applications, effective from 4:00 pm on Thursday, 11 August 2016. The Independent Children's Lawyer was discharged with the court's thanks, and the matter was removed from the list of active pending cases. The mother was permitted to have two addresses for service, with postage to either address constituting effective service, and the court would post documents to both. The delay in the dismissal of proceedings was to allow parties the opportunity to apply for relief from the orders.
