An Act to authorise the Construction of a Railway from

Mullewa to Cue. [Assented to 23rd November, 1894.

Preamble

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with

the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :-

Short title

1. This Act may be sited as ' The Mullewa-Cue Railway Act,

2. It shall be lawful to construct and maintain a Railway from Mullewa to Cue, with all necessary, proper, and usual works and conveniences in connection therewith, in the line described in tliG Schedule to this Act.

3. Notwithstanding anything contained in ' The Railways Act, Deviation

1878,' it shall be lawful for the Commissioner of Railways to deviate from the line as described in such Schedule to the extent of fifteen miles on either side thereof.

MIMLEWA—CUE RAILWAY

Description of Line of Railway

Commencing at or near a point at the termination of the Geraldton-Mullewa Railway, in the Mullewa Station thereof, and proceeding thence in a generally north-east by easterly direction for about 142 miles ; thence in a north-easterly direction for about 31 miles ; thence in a northerly direction for about 37 miles, and terminating at a point in or near Cue Townsite, as more particularly deline- ated by a red line on map marked P.W.D., W.A., No. 3133, deposited at the Office of the Commissioner of Railways, at Perth. Total length about 210 miles.
