Mertin and Mertin

The parties in this matter were Mr and Mrs Mertin. The dispute concerned orders to be made in relation to their family law proceedings. The decision was made by Cronin J of the Family Court of Australia.

The court was required to determine the terms of the final orders to be made in the proceedings, by consent of the parties.

Cronin J made orders in accordance with minutes of proposed orders agreed between the parties. These minutes were marked as Exhibit "A" and were to be sealed and attached to the court's orders. The solicitor for the wife was directed to engross these minutes and deliver them to the Associate of the court within seven days.
