Markov v The Queen

Markov appealed to the High Court of Australia against his conviction for murder. The central issue on appeal concerned the admissibility of certain evidence obtained by police during an interview with the appellant.

The High Court was required to determine whether the evidence obtained during the interview was admissible, given the circumstances under which it was elicited.
