Macey and Liddell

In the matter of *Macey and Liddell*, heard before Mead J, the dispute concerned parental responsibility and living arrangements for a child, X, born in 2012. The court was required to determine the ultimate orders to be made regarding the child's welfare.

The central legal issues before the court were the allocation of sole parental responsibility for X and the determination of where X would live. The court also had to consider the disposition of all extant applications filed in relation to the matter.

Mead J ordered that all previously made orders be discharged. The court then made orders granting the mother sole parental responsibility for X and stipulating that X live with the mother. Finally, all other pending applications before the court were dismissed.
