Loddington & Derringford

In the matter of Loddington & Derringford, heard before Cronin J, the dispute concerned interim parenting orders. The mother had applied for interim orders on 19 March 2009, and the father had filed a response seeking interim orders on 19 May 2009.

The court was required to determine the terms of interim parenting arrangements for the children, M and E, born in June 2004, and to consider the mother's application for interim orders and the father's response. The court also needed to address the readiness of the matter for final hearing.

Cronin J ordered that all outstanding issues be referred to the co-ordinating registrar for a telephone mention to assess the case's readiness for final hearing. Paragraph 11 of previous orders made on 31 October 2008 was suspended. The court then set out specific interim arrangements for the father to spend time with the children, commencing on 7 August 2009, involving supervised contact on Fridays and alternating weekends, with provisions for school holidays and the children's return to school. The mother's and father's applications for interim orders were otherwise dismissed.
