Khalid and Khalid

In the matter of *Khalid and Khalid*, heard by Faulks DCJ, the father applied for the mother to be dealt with for contravention of court orders on two separate occasions in December 2014. The proceedings also involved applications concerning interim spouse maintenance and a property division.

The court was required to determine whether the mother had contravened the existing orders and to make directions regarding the ongoing financial and property settlement aspects of the case.

Faulks DCJ dismissed the father's applications that the mother be dealt with for contravention of orders. The court also made directions for the filing of financial statements by both parties, adjourned the determination of interim spouse maintenance and a specific order sought by the mother, and set dates for the final hearing of property matters. The father was ordered to pay the mother's costs in the sum of $200.
