Kettle and Baker

In the matter of *Kettle and Baker*, heard before Murphy J, the dispute concerned an application for a stay of orders filed by one party on 12 April 2011. The respondent and the Independent Children’s Lawyer also made oral applications for costs.

The central legal issue before the court was whether the application for a stay of orders should be granted. The court was also required to determine the appropriate orders regarding costs, considering the applications made by the respondent and the Independent Children’s Lawyer.

Murphy J ordered that the Application in a Case for Stay of Orders filed on 12 April 2011 be struck out. Following this determination, and upon hearing the oral applications for costs, the court made no order as to costs.
