Kessler and Kessler

These were parenting and property proceedings between Mr and Mrs Kessler. The proceedings were before Judge Newbrun.

The central legal issue before the Court was whether the proceedings should be transferred to the Family Court of Australia.

Judge Newbrun ordered that the parenting and property proceedings be transferred forthwith to the Family Court of Australia at Parramatta. The proceedings in that Court were listed for mention on 14 May 2019 at 9:30 am. The Court indicated that reasons for this transfer would be published shortly.
