Jukes and Hepples

In *Jukes and Hepples*, heard before Gill J, the dispute concerned costs orders following proceedings between the Father and the Mother.

The central legal issue before the court was the appropriate allocation of costs incurred by the Mother between specific dates, namely from 14 November 2018 until the conclusion of the first day of trial on 19 November 2018.

Gill J ordered that the Father pay the Mother’s costs incurred during the specified period. The court determined that these costs should be paid either as agreed between the parties or, failing agreement, as assessed by the court.
