Isbister and Isbister

In *Isbister and Isbister*, the applicant sought spousal maintenance from the respondent. The matter was heard by Judge McGuire.

The court was required to determine the quantum and duration of spousal maintenance to be paid by the respondent to the applicant.

Judge McGuire ordered that the respondent pay spousal maintenance to the applicant in the sum of $500 per week, or $2,167 per calendar month, for a period of two years from the date of the orders. Payments were to be made in arrears, with the first payment due on or before 4:00 pm on 9 August 2013. Subsequent payments were to be made on a weekly or monthly basis as agreed between the parties, or weekly if no agreement was reached. Payments were to be made directly into a nominated bank account of the applicant, or otherwise as agreed.
