Hood & Cormack and Anor

The case of *Hood & Cormack and Anor* concerned parenting orders for two children, S and J. The dispute involved the allocation of parental responsibility and time between Mr Cormack, Mr Roscoe, and the Great, Great Aunt. The matter was heard by Faulks DCJ.

Orders previously granting parental responsibility to the Great, Great Aunt were discharged. The court stipulated that the children would spend one weekend per month with the Great, Great Aunt, typically the last weekend of the month, and half of all school holidays, alternating between the first and second halves of the holidays in even and odd-numbered years respectively. Specific arrangements were made for the handover of the children for these periods, and for the observance of Father's Day and Mother's Day. The court also made detailed orders facilitating communication between the children and all parties, and ensuring the sharing of information regarding the children's schooling and medical care.
