In the matter of *Harris & Isenga*, Johns J of the Federal Circuit Court of Australia considered an application concerning interim property orders. The dispute involved a husband and wife and their respective claims regarding property, specifically a property located at C Street, Suburb B, Victoria, which was subject to a mortgage liability with Westpac Bank.

The court was required to determine whether to grant certain interim orders sought by the wife, and to consider interim orders sought by the husband. Specifically, the court had to decide on the appropriate interim arrangements for the mortgage liability on the C Street property and whether to dismiss other interim orders sought by both parties.

Johns J ordered that the husband pay $500 per week to Westpac Bank towards the mortgage liability on the C Street property until further order. The court also dismissed the majority of the interim orders sought by the wife in her Amended Initiating Application filed on 13 August 2014, and dismissed specific interim orders sought by the husband in his response filed on 1 August 2014.
