In the matter of *Hadlow & Davis*, Berman J of the Family Court of Australia considered interim parenting orders concerning a child born in 2016. The dispute involved arrangements for the child to live with the mother and spend time with the father.

The court was required to determine the appropriate interim living and time-spending arrangements for the child. This included whether the father's time with the child should be supervised, following the production of section 69ZW documents, and what specific schedule of time spent with the father would be in the child's best interests.

Berman J made orders discharging all previous parenting orders. The court ordered that the child live with the mother and established a detailed schedule for the child to spend time with the father, commencing in August 2019. These arrangements were noted to be in line with the recommendations of the family consultant. The court also ordered that all handovers occur at a specified location unless otherwise agreed and granted an injunction restraining both parties from discussing the proceedings in the presence of the child.
