The case of *Hadid & Matin* concerned an application for review of a decision made by a Registrar in family law proceedings. Stevenson J varied the Registrar's order to specify that the husband was to pay the wife's costs of the conciliation conference in the sum of $1,050. Crucially, the court ordered that these costs were to be paid from the husband's share of funds held in a controlled monies account, and only upon the finalisation of the proceedings. The costs of the application for review itself were reserved to be determined at trial or upon the finalisation of the proceedings.
