Godaire & Micelli

In the matter of *Godaire & Micelli*, heard before Obradovic J, the dispute concerned parenting arrangements for a child, X, born in 2017. The applicant, Mr Godaire, and the respondent, Ms Micelli, were the parents of the child.

The court was required to determine the appropriate parenting orders, including issues of parental responsibility, the child's living arrangements, the extent of time the child would spend with each parent, and whether the mother should be permitted to remove the child from Australia for a holiday, dispensing with the father's consent for a passport.

Obradovic J ordered the discharge of all prior parenting orders. The court granted sole parental responsibility to the Respondent Mother, Ms Micelli, and ordered that the child, X, live with her. Crucially, the court ordered that the child X shall spend no time with the father. Furthermore, Ms Micelli was authorised to remove the child from the Commonwealth of Australia for a holiday, with the necessity for the Applicant Father's consent to the issue of a passport for the child being dispensed with. All outstanding applications and responses were dismissed.
