This matter concerned an interlocutory application before Senior Member B J Illingworth of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT). The applicant sought a review of a Commonwealth decision, and the central dispute revolved around whether the application filed with the Tribunal was properly before it, thereby enlivening the AAT's jurisdiction under section 25 of the *Administrative Appeals Tribunal Act 1975* (Cth).
