Galla & Harroun

In the matter of PAC 3822 of 2020, Mr Galla (the Applicant) sought a divorce from Ms Harroun (the Respondent). The proceedings were heard by Myers J.

The primary legal issue before the Court was whether to grant the divorce. The Court also noted an application for costs made by the Applicant, and in relation to this, it drew attention to the provisions of section 121 of the *Family Law Act 1975* (Cth) concerning the publication of identifying information in family law proceedings.

The Court granted the divorce, to take effect one month and one day from the date of the order. The matter was subsequently adjourned for directions regarding a costs hearing.
